Daily Therapy (“the app”, “we”) is a voice-first journaling app for personal self-reflection, built to be private by design. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.
The app has no accounts, no login, and no sign-up. We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
Voice recordings are stored only on your device. They are never uploaded to us or anyone else. You can delete any recording at any time, and the “Delete everything” button in Settings erases all of your entries, recordings, and app data instantly and permanently.
Your speech is turned into text on your device using Apple’s on-device speech recognition. The audio itself never leaves your phone.
To generate a written reflection, only the transcribed text (and your app language) is sent over an encrypted HTTPS connection to our processing service. We do not send your audio, your name, your contacts, or any account identifier — there is no account.
Optional premium features are sold as auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple’s App Store. Apple processes all payments; we never see your payment details. Subscription management and receipts are handled by Apple.
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Because your journal lives on your device, you control it directly: you can view it, export a text-based Yearly Recap, or permanently delete everything from within the app at any time.
We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date will change, and material changes will be reflected in the app.
